Towako Medical Cosmetics, founded in 2011, began as a supplier of premium raw ingredients for Japanese skincare brands. Under the leadership of Mr. Shinya Takahashi and in collaboration with Prof. Shinkichi Honda—renowned for his wine yeast extraction technology— the company drew inspiration from Ishikawa Prefecture’s vineyards and mineral-rich waters. This expertise led to the creation of refined, science-driven formulations that blend innovation with naturally derived ingredients.

From this foundation, Laviejo was born and officially launched on January 5, 2015.
